PG Degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology

Hello Friends !

 Congratulations that you are audiologist and speech language pathologist! and now you want to pursue post graduate degree in audiology and Speech language Pathology.

 Well most of all students are aware regarding PG Degree courses in India, however still many students and their parents are not aware about proper channel and complete guidance. what students know is either from teachers or seniors about pg courses available in India.

 As per Rehabilitation Council of India there are around 20+ colleges in India offers post graduate degree in audiology and speech language pathology.

 1. Master in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology
2. Msc. (Audiology)
3. Msc.(Speech Language Pathology)
From my experience, students who want to pursue single specialization either in Audiology or in Speech Language Pathology mostly prepares very hard to pass and get in to merits of  AIISH-Mysore Entrance Examination, as its only central government run institute which offers Single specialization post graduate degree in India.
Second Option available to them  is Dr. Chandrashekar Institute of Speech & Hearing in Bangalore is the only institute which conducts all three post graduate degree [MASLP, Msc(Aud) , Msc (SLP)]   
 as far as I inquire and know no other institutes or medical colleges conducts  Msc(Aud) or Msc(SLP).

 All other Institutes and Medical colleges conducts MASLP.

 Mostly for post graduate admissions institutes , colleges and/or Universities  conducts entrance examinations.
the most trendy entrance examinations are
1. AIISH Entrance Exam for Msc (AUD) & Msc (SLP),
2. AYJNIHH Mumbai Entrance Examination,
3. Manipal University Online Entrance Test(MU-OET)
4. MASLP CET School of ASLP, Bharati Vidhyapeeth,
5.PGASLP Entrance by MUHS,(State reserved Entrance)
6. others
